DESCRIPTION
While working at Discovery, I volunteered my spare time to support the office’s eco-friendly sustainability team, known as Green D.
I was tasked with creating a video to promote an upcoming office recycling challenge. Displayed throughout the building, it aimed to inform and encourage employees to take part. To make recycling more engaging, I designed the video in the style of an 8-bit video game, adding a fun and nostalgic touch to the message.
ANIMATION:
I recreated Discovery’s office exterior, furniture, and decor in a retro 8-bit video game style, making the animation instantly recognizable to employees while adding a fun, playful touch.
BEST DESIGN NEWCOMER - GOLD WINNER
This 8-bit animation was one of the five videos submitted by my managers at Discovery when they entered me into the Promax UK Awards, which resulted in me winning the Best Design Newcomer category in 2018.
Nominated by Discovery Creative London and Awarded by Promax UK.
