DESCRIPTION
I was commissioned by HSBC to animate a corporate explainer video using pre-designed assets provided by the client.
Working within After Effects, my role was to assemble and animate character rigs, environments, and illustrated elements based on the client’s existing design toolkit. Using the provided script, storyboard, and brief, I constructed dynamic scenes, carefully arranging architectural assets, furniture, and objects to build engaging environments. I then rigged and animated the characters, bringing them to life in accordance with the project’s narrative. This collaboration ensured a polished and cohesive final animation that aligned with HSBC’s visual identity and communication goals.
ANIMATION:
All illustrated assets—including characters, furniture, and objects—were pre-designed by another artist before I joined the project. My role was to assemble these elements into cohesive scenes, rig the characters, and animate the video. I was responsible for all movement, transitions, and text animations, ensuring a smooth and engaging final product.
