DESCRIPTION
For the past 5 years, I’ve created annual animations for content creator Meggan Grubb, used to introduce her YouTube vlogs. This is the third video I created for the client.
Featured in Meggan Grubb's daily YouTube vlogs, which were posted on her channel throughout December 2022 - a festive social media trend known as Vlogmas.
Meggan Grubb is a well-known fitness and lifestyle influencer with 1.3 million Instagram followers and over 500,000 YouTube subscribers.
ANIMATION:
For the 2022 animation, I worked with a smaller budget, so I adapted my approach to be more efficient. Instead of complex character animation, I recreated iconic photos of Meggan Grubb and her family from Instagram as illustrated versions in Photoshop. I then built a 3D world in After Effects, using hand-drawn replicas of her furniture—once again inspired by her Instagram—to bring the scene to life in a creative yet budget-friendly way.
